När Church is one of the 92 medieval churches on the island of Gotland.
The oldest part of the building it's the tower, originally built as a defensive tower. Some arrowslits are still visible in it. Inside the church, the oldest artefact is the Romanesque baptismal font, made by sculptor Hegvald. Most of its furnishings date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
