The Selje church, inaugurated in 1866, is a project of the architect F. H. Stockfleth. It is built in a relatively simple Gothic-Swiss style, with a gable-shaped window frame and exceptional quality carpentry work on the walls. The church is located on the shore and overlooks the island of Selje to the west.

Seljord Church is a stone church in Romanesque style, built between 1150 and 1180 and restored by the National Heritage Board between 1965 and 1972. The church has an elongated nave and an almost square choir with an apse. The porch to the west dates from around 1630, and the only sculptural decoration in the church is in the corner of the nave to the north-east, representing a man's head with a beard. The church is located on the road to St. Olav.

The Sem church, which was probably built in the 12th century, is a long stone church with a rectangular nave and a shorter, lower and straighter choir. The red turret with its high spire dates from 1956. The south choir portal, which has been redesigned, is decorated with Romanesque stone reliefs in some of the granite stones. The church is dedicated to St. Olav.

The seminary church is the second oldest preserved church in Kosice, located in the city center. Originally a Gothic church, it was later rebuilt in the Baroque style. The church was built for the Franciscan order by a family of lords from Perun (Perenyi family) after a fire in 1333. He was consecrated by St. Nicholas. From its preserved Gothic elements, it is clear that it had a beautiful plastic Gothic decoration. The reliefs above the entrance are original, inside the stone saddle by the altar and the arches above the sanctuary and the former monk's choir.

The seminary church is an Orthodox church built in 1882. On 28 June 2011, during the 35th session of the UNESCO Committee, the church was inscribed on the World Heritage List as part of the architectural ensemble of the Residence of Metropolitans of Bukovina and Dalmatia. The five-domed church was built in the Byzantine style with elements of eclecticism. Stylized "crosses of Constantinople" are installed on the domes.

The church was founded in 1830 as the Dutch Reformed Church. After the formation of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands (PKN) in 2004, the building was used by the Protestant Community of Stadskanaal, Semsstraatkerk district. The church is the oldest church in Stadskanaal.

Sengskroken Church is a wooden church that was built in 1962. The church has a long plan and was designed by the architect Knut P. Bugge. The design of the building was the same as that of the Billefjord chapel in Finnmark.

Sens Cathedral

A primitive building was located at the present location of the cathedral (6th-7th century). In 1122, the architect Henri Sanglier began the reconstruction of the Carolingian cathedral to build one of the first Gothic buildings. The church was consecrated in 1164 by the Pope. The building was completely completed at the end of the 13th century. Chapels were added in the 13th and 14th centuries, then a transept in the 15th and 16th centuries.
