The Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration in Zagreb is the cathedral of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The building was built in 1866 on the site of an old Catholic church, St. Margaret's, mentioned since 1334 and sold to the Orthodox in 1794.

The Serbian Orthodox Church of St. George the Great Martyr was founded by Serbian settlers fleeing from the Turks at the end of the 17th century. Demolished in 1731, this church was replaced by a new baroque church in 1733. The bell tower was completed in 1752. Its iconostasis, reflecting an influence of the Italian Renaissance, was completed in 1850.

The period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. It appears on a cadastral map of 1860, but the earliest preserved gravestone dates from the first half of the 19th century. The fence was installed by ESJF in November 2016.

Šerefudin's White Mosque is a contemporary mosque designed by Bosnian architect Zlatko Ugljen. The original mosque was founded in 1477. The building was reconstructed in 1980 and won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1983.

The cemetery was likely established in the first half of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the cemetery had a wooden fence with a roofed gate. During World War II, it began to deteriorate. By order of the Germans, some tombstones were used to reinforce the roads and Seroczyn residents participated in the destruction process. Almost all of the matzevot and cemetery infrastructure were removed. The last burial took place in 1943 and the cemetery has been closed since then.

Seskarö Church is a wooden church that was built between 1928 and 1929 according to the plans of the builder Hjalmar Olsson and was consecrated on 18 August 1929 by Bishop Olof Bergqvist. The church consists of a single nave with a rectangular plan. In 1945 the church underwent a complete restoration and was rededicated on 18 November by Bishop Bengt Jonzon.

Setskog church is a wooden church that was built in 1874. The church has a rectangular plan and was designed by architect Gulbrand Johnsen.

The current building of Setúbal Cathedral is a reconstruction of the High Renaissance with an imposing Mannerist façade of a 13th-century church. Inside there are columns with frescoes, sculptures and tiles from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Lleida was an episcopal seat from very ancient times. The first known bishop, Sagiti, held this position in 419. That institution was lost following the Saracen invasion in 719. The bishopric of Lleida was restored in 1149 when the territory was recovered. It was established that all the mosques in the city would become episcopal property, and following this rule the Great Mosque was consecrated as a Christian in 1149 and in its place the first church was built (or recovered), the centre of episcopal power: Santa Maria l'Antiga. The primitive church of Santa Maria l'Antiga (or Santa Maria in Sede ) has been identified with the buildings that still remain in the western wing of the cloister, and the canonical quarters should be located next to it. Later, when the cathedral was built, the old single-nave church would have been used as a quarter of the canonical church.
