The Severn Street Synagogue in Birmingham is an Ashkenazi synagogue completed in 1809 by architect Richard Tutin. It was rebuilt between 1825 and 1827. Used until 1856, this brick synagogue in Victorian and Greek Revival style was transformed into a Masonic lodge.

Shakh’s synagogue was built in 1560s and is now the fourth oldest synagogue in the Czech Republic. The current interior is from major reconstruction in the 1730’s. In the reconstruction the current Polish-type baroque decorations were created. Since there is little living Jewish community in Holešov, the synagogue is mainly used as a heritage object.
