Berck, FR
The Catholic Church of Notre-Dame-des-Sables in Berck was built by Clovis Normand, architect of many churches during the 19th century. Our Lady of the Sands was opened in 1886. Pamiers , FR
The city of Pamiers, as well as the first church, were founded on the return from the crusade of Count Roger II of Foix. Installed on an ancient Roman castrum, the Church was built between 1170 and 1180. It nevertheless underwent the contradictory debate between Cathars and Catholics, the city being in the heart of Catharism, even defined as one of the foci of Catharism. It was rebuilt in the 14th century, on the remains of the first building. Religious wars ruined the building again, before it was rebuilt in 1603. Destroyed in 1621, a new reconstruction took place in 1630.
Le Mans, FR
The 11th century church, entirely in Romanesque style, is located on the right bank of the Sarthe river, in the heart of the Pré district. It was originally a monastery established in the 6th century. The church as we know it today was begun in the 11th century. At the time of its construction, the church was the third largest building in the city after the Cathedral and the Couture.

This church is the oldest in Figeac, built after a miracle. The present building dates from the 12th century. Taken by the Protestants in the 16th century, it was then transformed into a war fort, since it dominates the whole valley.

Arles, FR
The church of Notre-Dame-la-Major is a Romanesque-Gothic church originally consecrated in 452, during the third Council of Arles, by Archbishop Ravennius, as attested by the inscription engraved on the façade of the chapel of Saint-Martin, which disappeared in 1592 during its renovation. The replacement of this first church on the same site by a Provençal Romanesque building, of which the three bays of the nave remain, began in 1152. In the 16th century, the choir and its apse were completely rebuilt. In 1579, the bell tower was rebuilt in its present form.
Tours, FR
The church of Notre-Dame-la-Riche dates mainly from the 15th century, but the origins of the building are very old. Texts attest to the existence of this church dedicated to Notre-Dame-la-Pauvre as early as 920. The church has been rebuilt several times. It has been known as Notre-Dame-la-Riche since 1141. All that remains of this church is the crypt of Saint-Gatien, which is outside the plan of the present church. During the Revolution, the church was used for the manufacture of saltpetre. It was returned to worship in 1798. The first restoration of the church was carried out between 1818 and 1820. The church was restored and partially rebuilt by architect Gustave Guérin between 1860 and 1866.
Lyon, FR
Neo-classical style church, located between two adjoining dwellings. One enters the building via a magnificent cul-de-four porch. Because of its geographical location, it is in the same parish as the church of Saint-Paul which faces it from the other bank of the Saône.
