The Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa was built between 1765 and 1767 as a protestant church. It was erected on an octagonal plan. On the east side, under the sacristy, there is a burial crypt. Inside there is the high altar, made around 1765, sculptures of St. John the Baptist and Moses from the 18th century and a bas-relief depicting the Last Supper in Renaissance style.

The Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa was built between 1746 and 1748 with a cross-shaped plan. After the end of the Silesian Wars (1740-1763), the Prussian authorities restored the religious freedom of the Protestants and gave permission to build a church. Originally, the church did not have a tower. The tower was built in 1828. In 1929, a clock made in Berlin was installed in the tower.

When in 1752 a massive fire broke out at the Arsenal, a warehouse that was storing gunpowder for the war fleet of the Republic of Venice, the citizens of Zadar desperately called upon the Lady of Castello, or today Our Lady of Health. Since the fire burned itself out thanks to the help of Our Lady, the citizens of Zadar organize a procession every year on 21st November and distribute fritule (fritters) to passers-by, as a sign of gratitude to the Lady. The church of Our Lady of Health was built in 1937 and is on the site of an older church dating from the 18th century. The 18th century Baroque Church of Our Lady of Health was demolished in the early 1930s, and the new modernist style church was built in its place in 1937, according to the design of the Zagreb architect Lavoslav Horvat. The old baroque bell tower of the church has been preserved.

A Gothic church, whose choir is still visible in the cemetery, has existed in Laeken since the 13th century. The old church was destroyed in 1872-3 to make way for the new church of Our Lady of Laeken, which was commissioned by Leopold I to house the remains of his wife Queen Louise-Marie of Orléans. Since then, this splendid neo-gothic church has served as a necropolis for the Belgian royal family.

A monastery originally stood on the site of the present church, the first in the town, dating from the late 16th century. It was later expanded and renovated until the present temple was reached in the early 20th century. The neo-Gothic façade stands out with its central clock tower and white paint on the walls of the building. Inside the church there is the Baroque style altarpiece of the main altar, dating from the 17th century.

The church of Nuestra Señora de la Piedad in Azuara (Province of Zaragoza, Spain), originally responded typologically to the Mudejar fortified church model, so widespread in Aragon during the Late Middle Ages. It was built in the second half of the 14th century, it had a straight chancel and a wide single nave with two sections with side chapels covered with a pointed barrel. This construction was modified in the 18th century, at which time the orientation of the church was changed, the entrance was enabled through the old chancel, where a high choir was built, and a new presbytery was opened on the opposite side, preceded by a large domed transept in baroque style.

The parish church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a neo-gothic church that has been rebuilt many times since its first construction in 1859. The last reconstruction dates from 1958, after the church was damaged during the Second World War.
