The Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation is in neo-Romanesque style with Art Deco influences, built according to the plans of the architect Camille Damman. In 1914, work began but was interrupted due to the outbreak of World War I. The church was built in 1914. In the meantime, a temporary church was built in 1915, rue Joseph Stallaert n°6, by the same architect. The Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation was not completed and consecrated until 1934.

The Church of Our Lady of the Chapel (Kapellekerk) was founded in the 12th century as a chapel of a Benedictine priory and was transformed into a church in the 13th century. Damaged by a fire in 1475, the church was rebuilt in Flamboyant Gothic and got its baroque tower at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. From 1989 to 1996, the church underwent major restoration work. Today the Chapel Church is the parish church of the Polish Catholic community in Brussels.

The Church of Our Lady of the Rocks was first built in the 15th century on an artificial island, opposite the island of St. George and its ancient Benedictine abbey. The church, in its present form, was built between 1630 and 1725. A unique feature of this holy place was the Reconciliation Room, where families in deep conflict would come to resolve long-standing disputes. The merciful gaze of Our Lady of the Rocks was believed to ensure that the reconciliation process would proceed peacefully.
