Nonantola Abbey is an important Benedictine abbey founded in 752 by Abbot Anselm of Friuli. In 899 the abbey was plundered by the Magyars and then by the earthquake of 1117. It continued to play an important role; it was the seat of the meeting between Pope Marin I and Emperor Charles the Great and the burial place of Pope Adrian III.

Dating mostly from the 16th century, the current monastic complex, with its surrounding walls and archaeological sites, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the city of Salzburg.

The church of Nord-Sel dates from 1932. The church is well preserved on the outside, with the exception of extensions in the late 1950s. The church has a waiting room for baptisms and a storage room in the basement. Most of the furniture dates from the time of construction, with the exception of the 1681 altarpiece.

Nordana Chapel with crematorium was built in 1939 and inaugurated in 1940. It was used until 1980 when the Forest Chapel was completed. Now, every Halloween weekend, you have a moment of remembrance with choir singing on a couple of occasions.

Nordberg Church is an octagonal church built in 1864 according to the design of the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church has been relatively well preserved since the time of its construction, with the exception of a few modifications that were made as part of a restoration in 1974-77. Inside the church, the 1864 altarpiece is richly carved with acanthus leaves. There are also two paintings from 1723 and 1725 depicting Mary with the Child and Jesus in the temple at the age of 12.

Nordberg Church is a hexagonal church completed in 1962, restored and extended with a parish hall in 1982. The façade is made of white clay brick and has a characteristic tower that can be seen from a large part of Oslo.
