In traditionalism in 1932, built to a design by architect FPJ Peutz from Heerlen, CATHOLIC CHURCH in honour of St. Theresa. The church is strikingly situated in an uneven terrain in the centre of Ransdaal. The church was built by the parishioners of Ransdaal.

Northwest-southeast oriented single-nave cruciform church designed by FB Sturm built in 1930-1931. Tower placed on the east corner of the front facade. The choir has a four-sided closure. Chapels have been added on either side of the front facade. The sacristy is located on the southern corner next to the choir, and an auxiliary sacristy is located on the northern corner next to the choir. The building, which is designed in fairly sober Interbellum architecture with Art Deco influences on the outside, has a special, high-quality brick construction and a striking harmony in building form and decoration on the inside.

In 1926, Prof. BF Overmaat, rector of the Seminary in Driebergen, applied for a permit to build this church and rectory. The design was by H. Kroes and Sons in Amersfoort and the construction was carried out in 1926-1927 by contractor LJ Hemels in Amersfoort. The Church was the first in the Netherlands to be dedicated to St. Theresia, a Norman nun who was canonized in 1925.

The Roman Catholic parish church of Saint Theresia was built in the first half of the 20th century according to the design of architect JHH (Hubert) van Groenendael. The building is a three-aisled church with a transept and transept tower and a two-tower front with a narthex (entrance hall). In 1943 the church bells were stolen by the Germans. In 1946 and 1955 the church received new bells.

The church was designed by Hubert van Groenendael and his son, HFM van Groenendael . It is a single-nave brick church building with an adjacent tower, covered by a tent roof. The spacious, single-nave church has a rose window above the entrance, two day chapels , dedicated to Our Lady and to Theresia respectively.

The church was built in the period 1968-1969. The design was created by the originally Hungarian architect M.J. (Mik) Becka (1936-2017). The church was originally called the Thabor Church, but was later named after the Carmelite father Titus Brandsma (1881-1942), murdered by the Nazis in Dachau in 1942.
