Lyse chapel is a wooden building completed in 1961. The chapel was designed by Gustav Helland and Endre Årreberg. They emphasised the natural conditions of the place. Thus they gave the chapel high, pointed gables that would rise like mountains in the terrain.

The Lysekloster chapel was built in 1663 and has preserved a number of old treasures: an altarpiece from 1664, a host box from 1703, a watering can from the 18th century, two large altarpieces from 1696 and an alms collector from 1696. The spire of the church tower has a weather vane bearing the year 1739.

The small chapel called Agios Synesios is located a good 3 kilometres south-east of Lysi in the fields. Although it is located in the administrative boundaries of Kontea, it is usually referred to as Agios Synesios of Lysi. The chapel is in good condition. It was recently renovated. However, the doors are closed with barred gates. Access is therefore not possible.

The Agios Themonianos Church (also known as the Agios Euphemianos Church) is located about 2.5 km southwest of the centre of the village of Lysi. The church was built in the 13th century. Today, the area is fenced in and access to the church itself is not possible. The external condition of the church is good.

Lysi Panagia Church

The Panagia Church of Lysi was built in 1889 and is located in the north-western area of the original settlement structure. After 1974, the church was initially converted into a mosque. With the completion of a new mosque in the village (ca. 2019-2020), the building was abandoned and left to its own devices.

The Agios Georgios Church of Lythragkomi is located on the eastern edge of the original settlement area. It was built in 1900.

North of Lythragkomi there is another church, the famous Panagia Kanakaria Church. It was built in Byzantine times (5th century) and then rebuilt in the 11th to 12th centuries.

The cemetery was functioning in the 19th century and appears on Russian maps from the mid-19th century. The dates of the preserved gravestones date to 1912-1970s. The cemetery was fenced in 1930. It was demolished in the 1970s and 1980s by Soviet authorities. Up to seven tombstones were preserved, all dating from after WWII.

The cemetery was not marked on a cadastral map of 1860. Presumably, it was established in the early 20th century, so far as the earliest preserved gravestone relates to the 1910s.

Lødingen Church

The Lødingen church is a wooden cross church. It was built in 1897 and was probably the fourth church on the site. According to Lorentz Dietrichson, a medieval stave church was demolished between 1666 and 1756, while a cruciform church was built in 1756.
