St. Clement's Church is a church whose oldest part consists of the main nave and the Romanesque tower, dating back to the 11th century. The building was enlarged in the 15th century with the addition of a transept and a choir in late Gothic style. In 1871, the church was extensively restored and the 15th-century additions were removed and rebuilt in the neo-Romanesque style.

St. Cornelius is the parish church of the Flemish town of Aalbeke. The current neoclassical exterior dates from the reconstruction of 1805. The building's interior houses now the conservatory, a public library and a space for small liturgical services.

Around 1182, the church became the Holy Cross (St. Crucis) and raised to the parish church when Erfurt was divided into parishes. It stood in the Neustadt ("on the new plant") built in 1166 and was therefore nicknamed "Neuwerkskirche".

St. Dominic's Basilica was built at the beginning of the 14th century on the initiative of the Dominicans, according to a project by Giovanni Pisano (1248-1318). The work was completed in 1458. Between 1629 and 1632, the interior was completely refurbished by Carlo Maderno according to a Latin cross plan with three long naves in a sober style, all in white. All that remains of the original building is the cloister (1455-1579) and, at the level of the choir, a large Gothic window dating back to the 15th century. The two adjoining cloisters of the convent house the State Archives and the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria.

St. Elijah's Church is an Orthodox church still in use, built of wood in 1893. In the early 1930s, the temple was closed and reopened during the Second World War. In 1960 the church was closed and gradually the building fell into disrepair to the point where one of the domes collapsed. At the end of 2003, the foundations of the new temple were laid.
