Schootsekerk

In the Strijp district. Interesting, large and in many details well preserved church with tower by architect F. Jantzen. This was the 2nd Reformed Church in Eindhoven, after the small Vaste Burchtkerk in the centre of Eindhoven. Out of use as NH Church in 1974, since then in use as Christian Reformed Church, which until then had used the smaller church on Plaggenstraat (church building Plaggenstraat taken over by Geref. Gemeente).

Schwerin Cathedral was founded as a Romanesque building during the reign of Henry the Lion (12th century), at the same time as the cathedrals of Lübeck, Ratzeburg and Braunschweig. A new cathedral was built in the Gothic style from 1270. The building was rebuilt in the Gothic Revival style after being damaged by fire in the 19th century.

Notre-Dame de Scourmont is a Trappist abbey built in the second half of the 19th century. The priory was founded in 1850 and elevated to the rank of abbey in 1871. In 1863, a brewery was established in the abbey and in 1876, the Trappist monks began to produce hard cheese from the milk from their farm.

The cornerstones of Sct. Clemens church was laid on 25 November 1961, and the finished church was consecrated on 8 September 1963, but the history of the parish and the church goes back further, as the cornerstones show: The first cornerstone in the church's crypt is a granite square dating from Randers oldest church , the first Sct. Clemens Church, demolished in 1540. The second foundation stone is a monk stone from Sct. Morten's church and the third foundation stone a brick from Sct. Peder's Church, the two parishes the new Sct. Clemens parish was separated from. The parish is older than the church, and a temporary church was in use from January 1952.

The ornate house with the characteristic facade in Gothic style was designed by architect Jensen Wurum and inaugurated in 1896. According to its purpose, the Congregational House was used from the beginning for lectures and social activities. In 1971, Sct. Mortens parish Menighedshuset.

The Scuola Canton in Venice was built between 1531 and 1532, with parts dating from 1672 (ark), and 1736. This Baroque stone building still serves as a synagogue.

The Spanish synagogue is one of the two functioning synagogues in Venice. It was built in 1580 and was restored in 1635. It is a clandestine synagogue meaning that the exterior was not allowed to appear as a place of worship. The synagogue is still open today for services.

The Scuola Grande Tedesca was built in 1528 by German Ashkenazi Jews making it one of the oldest synagogues in Venice. The temple is on the fourth and fifth floors of the five-story building that today is home to the Jewish Museum in Venice.
